We would like to thank you for posting a response to the global BDS call to boycott the Red Sea Jazz Festival, acknowledging that racist policies are being practiced by the Israeli government (as well as by the American government, of course, and numerous other regimes).

We are citizens of Israel who oppose Israel’s continuing displacement and
dispossession of the Palestinian people via military occupation and
apartheid policies. We join the Palestinian civil society call for boycott,
divest and sanctions on Israel (BDS) [1].

We greatly respect your criticism of the current global political order. In particular, we respect your addressing of the issues of present-time racism and their connection with the injustice that is deeply ingrained in the international political system.
