We are a group of Israeli citizens, active against our government's policies of racism, occupation and apartheid. We are convinced that an international campaign of sanctions against Israeli institutions, which are complicit in Israel's violations of human rights and international law, is both justifiable and necessary.

We were thrilled to learn of your recent decision to support Palestinian civil society's BDS call. This is an important precedent, and we hope to see academic societies in the US and elsewhere walking in your footsteps.

We encourage you to stand firm in the face of attempts to derail your initiative. Please let us know what we can do to support you in your efforts.
