You did the right thing.

Thank you for your thought-provoking statement, and for your solidarity with the indigenous Palestinian people.

As you say, “Now is not the time for escapism and celebrations. Now is the time for activism and protests against Israeli apartheid, Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the human rights atrocities being carried out every day in Gaza by Israeli forces.”

Thank you for being on the right side of history.

We hope more conscientious artists like you do not cross the Palestinian picket line, and boycott Israel.
