We are Israeli citizens who are active against our government’s policies of colonialism, occupation and apartheid. Following the Palestinian civil society call for BDS we have had the opportunity to take a stand against Israel's criminal policies and support the international campaign, which includes divestment from companies that are complicit in such policies and profit from them. Insisting on socially responsible investments in this region is a crucial step in bringing about peace and justice to the people living in Israel/Palestine.

We deeply thank SUPER (Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights) at the University of Washington for promoting human rights through this divestment initiative and call on The Associated Students of the University of Washington to endorse SUPER's proposal.
