To Foreign Minister of Sweden, Margot Wallström,

We are citizens of Israel who actively oppose our successive governments' policies of belligerent occupation, colonialism, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid against the indigenous people of this land, the Palestinian people. Notably, we oppose Israel’s policies of extrajudicial executions, which have escalated in recent months, in terms of both policy and action, and have been and still are exacerbated by media propaganda and  Israeli officials' public incitement.

We write to strengthen you in your call for justice. We too believe that each and every case of Palestinian execution and injury by Israel’s armed forces and armed civilians must be thoroughly and impartially investigated, and that perpetrators of murder and execution must be brought to justice.

We abhor Israeli officials' response to your reasonable demand and feel it illustrates not only Israel’s refusal to take responsibility for its crimes, but also the systematic denial of redress mechanisms for the Palestinian people, which allows these crimes to go on unabated in the first place. It is statements like yours that break Israel’s cycle of violence against the people it rules over, and we hope to see more demands like yours brought forth, and pressure applied to have them implemented.
