We are Israeli citizens, active against our government’s policies of colonialism, occupation and apartheid. We have come to the conclusion that an international campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS), as called for by Palestinian civil society, is a crucial and necessary step in bringing about peace and justice for the people of Israel/Palestine.
 
We deeply appreciate ANC's key role in paving a path for the rest of the world to follow, through its determined political and moral support of Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW).
 
IAW is an excellent educational tool that has spread throughout the world, for learning about the Israeli form of apartheid as well as other criminal policies being practiced here. Furthermore, IAW allows activists all over the world to learn from the ANC and South Africa's experience in tackling and bringing about an end to such oppressive practices, and learn about the ways which are available for us in order to do so. IAW enables us all to discuss our work towards a better and brighter future for all the people in Palestine/Israel. All of these will be enormously benefited by the ANC's partnership in IAW activities and we can only look forward to seeing the fruits of such a cooperation.
